George Takei and husband Brad Altman have had it officially with the Alabama Supreme Court's defiance of a federal ruling recognizing same-sex marriages in the state.

In response to Justice Roy Moore's order to halt all same-sex marriages earlier this week, the couple took to social media to give the whole damn system the finger.

Using his social media prowess for LGBT activism once again, Takei urged followers to join the movement and give Alabama their "wedding finger" with the hashtag #LuvUAlabama.

Alabama just gave SCOTUS the finger by halting marriage equality there despite federal orders. Couples, let's respond! Whether gay or straight, post a photo on FB or Twitter giving AL the "wedding finger" and tagging #LuvUAlabama. Tag your state (e.g. #NY) to join our nationwide map!
