UK Banks Created "GAYTMs" For London Pride
In support of London Pride last weekend, Lloyds Banking Group launched "GAYTMs" throughout Britain.
Covering their ATMs in rainbow canopies and carpets, the bank wanted to publicly show its support for employees and customers.
“As a Group, we’re passionate about ensuring our business truly reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve," said Fiona Cannon OBE, Group Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Lloyds Banking Group.
"Supporting the LGBT community is of immense importance to us," she continued, "and ensuring our LGBT colleagues are as engaged as other groups of colleagues is a key commitment within our Helping Britain Prosper Plan.”
