Did Adam Lambert Do Freddie Mercury Proud With Cover Of Queen's "We Are The Champions"?

We saw Freddie Mercury shade Kanye's cover of "Bohemian Rhapsody" via Internet meme, but how would the Queen front man feel about Adam Lambert's version of "We Are the Champions"?

Lambert, who has been performing with the remaining members of Queen, performed the rock anthem this week to celebrate the 50th episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden.

“He is James Corden, my friends,” Lambert sang, altering the song's original lyrics. “And he’ll host the Late Show till the end. He is James Corden, he is James Corden. This is the Late Show and he is James Corden … of the world!”

Lambert also performed "Ghost Town," which he sang at this year's Logo Trailblazer Honors.
