Taylor Swift has approved gay "social networking" app Grindr for the use of promoting her new album 1989, which by the way is projected to go platinum in its first week of sales after it's released tomorrow.

Earlier this week, Swift shot to the top of the iTunes chart when a possible glitch leaked an eight-second white noise audio track titled "Track 3" on 1989's official Canadian iTunes storefront, where of thousands of people purchased it for $1.29.

As if her album needed it, the 24-year-old singer applauded the further promotion of her album on Grindr this week by sharing the following screenshot on Tumblr:

"CANT STOP LAUGHING" she says. "I will be applauding you for decades to come for this."

Early reviews for 1989 indicate it'll be worth the hype. Of the album's 13 tracks, three have been released and are probably already stuck in your head: "Shake It Off", "Welcome to New York" and "Out of the Woods". Check out Taylor's first live performance of the latest below.
