He's got an Emmy and the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Now RuPaul is claiming the ultimate celebrity status symbol: A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced several additions to the iconic thoroughfare this week, and Mama Ru was among them. “Sweet Cheeses! My heart is beating so fast right now!” the Drag Race impresario tweeted of the honor.

Ru's star will be unveiled on March 16.

Also making the cut were Ryan Murphy, Jennifer Lawrence, Lynda Carter, Gillian Anderson, Eric McCormack, Shonda Rhimes, Snoop Dogg, Weird Al, Minnie Mouse, Niecy Nash, Mary J. Blige, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Simon Cowell, and Kirsten Dunst. (Crocodile Hunter host Steve Irwin and comedian Bernie Mac will receive posthumous stars.)

"[We] looked carefully at each nominee and we feel that we have selected an eclectic group of talent that will appeal to the tastes of many fans around the world," said Walk of Fame committee member Vin Di Bona. “I know these honorees will remember the dedication of their stars with great memories and will be proud that they are part of Hollywood’s history now and forever.”
