Adele Dedicates Concert To Orlando Victims And The LGBT Community

"They’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it."

Adele broke down in tears during her concert in Antwerp, Belgium Sunday night when she paid an emotional tribute to the 49 dead and 53 wounded, mostly LGBT victims of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history this weekend.

“I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night,” the Grammy award-winning singer told a 23,000-strong crowd at the Sportpaleis arena in Antwerp.

"The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I’m very moved by it.”

Adele joked that most of her music is "fucking miserable," which is why she paid homage before performing "Rumor Has It," one of her "two songs that sound happy."
