We're getting ready for the premiere of Strike a Pose on Logo, and asked some Madonna fans about the impact Truth or Dare had on them

"It was just people being really raw—and Madonna being raw," recalls Dara Avenius. "Watching people be themselves, behind the scenes, in a way you didn't really get."

Beyond the Queen of Pop, viewers got up-close-and-personal with her dancers, who held nothing back.

"You were just seeing actual gay people just behaving normally," recalls blogger Matthew Rettenmund, who literally wrote the book on Madonna, "There was nothing scripted. They were just living their lives, going to a gay Pride parade—which I had probably just done for the first time in that time period."
